In 2020 the Lioness branch of Lions Club International was dissolved and the Wild Rose Lioness were welcomed into the club. In 1987 they voted to allow women and to open the membership to the general population, prior, it had only been male professionals and business owners. In the mid 80’s they purchased their current club house at 1100 Main St. For the first 30 years the businessmen met in various locations in Waushara County. They were chartered in 1952, sponsored by the now dissolved Wautoma Lions Club. 21 the Wild Rose Lions Club celebrated their 70th Anniversary as an official chartered club of the Lions Club Internal organization, with a catered meal and social hour.
